Who We Are

Eight Days Of Hope July 14 Christopher And GraceOur family’s unique mission began in 2002 with a call I received in prayer. I felt the Lord telling me to find Christopher, my new nephew who was born prematurely with several complications and had been placed in foster care. Within a few weeks of feeling this call from the Lord, I flew to Florida to meet him with questions burning in my heart.  Would my four other children resent this child?  How do you raise a blind child?  Is there enough love for all 5?   After further prayer, we did welcome him—taking a big step in faith—and how thankful we are that we did!

Christopher’s life has been a testament to the amazing grace of Christ. Embracing his gift of music, he has witnessed to countless people with a message that every life has mission and meaning. Blind and autistic, Christopher can truly echo the words of St. Paul in Second Corinthians: “When I am weak, then I am strong.” As a family, we have gone through many trials in our pursuit of the Lord’s will, but with every challenge,   God has given us abundant grace and has stretched us to become more faithful disciples of His Son.

Now, over 9 million people have viewed Christopher’s original YouTube video, “Open the Eyes of My Heart.” God’s hand on Christopher’s life has brought both our family and so many in his audiences, to better know, love, and serve the Lord Jesus. We look forward to God’s plan for this ministry, as we continue to journey with Christopher!
